The ATLATL is a shamanistic collaboration formed to address interests in physics, history,
anthropology, hunting, and martial arts.
Vision
We envision the future of technology as a combination of ancient arts and continued
innovations. Ancient solutions have the potential to be relevant in the future.
Philosophy
Mission Statement
Our mission is to study ancient technologies (including the atlatl weapon system) in order to
benefit modern humans.
One objective is to study the effectiveness of "primitive" technologies and
to learn about these technologies through direct experiences, such as:

ATLATL is primarily self-funded and is in not oriented toward generating a profit.

- Hunting non-game animals with the atlatl.
- Organizing atlatl accuracy contests

- To legalize hunting game animals with the atlatl in Texas by 2012. Legalize it!
- To offer guided hunts using stone-age weapons.
- To provide workshops and demonstrations.
- To produce articles, books, videos, and other educational materials.
- To produce blue-prints of effective stone-age technologies,
